Sign-Language at Good Shepherd Starts Aug. 22

No Episcopal churches offer sign-language interpretation for the deaf — until now. After our very positive experiences in having a talented ASL interpreter make occasional services accessible for one of our deaf parishioners, and after learning just how few church services for the deaf our community offers, Good Shepherd is stepping up to the plate and committing to serve this important part of our community.

From August 22 until Thanksgiving, Good Shepherd will offer an ASL interpreter
at the 11 am service. If enough people take advantage of this new service, ASL translation of our services may become a permanent part of worship at Good Shepherd.
